Our mission is to unite many talented hip-hop artists through mainstream events with ease to participation.

The term "Local Artists/Talents" often carries an undertone of undervaluation for musicians. Instead, it should celebrate those who dedicate countless hours to their craft, tirelessly creating music and seeking opportunities to advance their careers. That's why we are thrilled to announce "Hip Up YYC," an initiative dedicated to promoting, supporting, and providing mainstream exposure for Calgary's most talented artists. 

Our scope isn't limited to hip-hop artists alone. Our slogan "up" signifies our commitment to raise and elevate the standards of musician regardless of genre. 

Our events are seasonal, and we collaborate with stakeholders to create opportunities that prioritize Calgary artists, offering them the chance to perform firsthand and ensuring fair financial compensation. For years, Calgary's music artists have struggled to find openings to perform at or participate in mainstream events featuring top celebrities in the city, with little success, leading to demotivation. Moving forward, we aim to organize mainstream events that address this issue. While we remain hopeful about our seasonal events, and our primary objective to attract as many top celebrities to our events

Our stance encourages all music artists to be abide to copyright music policy. We will continue to support as many talented, and hardworking artists.

The future of prosperity isn't visible from afar; it requires a closer examination of the path to attain it. We are pleased to facilitate this journey, making it more approachable and accessible for Calgary's music artists.

With over a decade of experience organizing intimate events in pubs, lounges, and nightclubs, we possess a unique perspective that enables us to achieve our mission and goals effectively. Excited for the momentum, and support of our stakeholder in supporting our mission. The 2024 Summer Jam is our first music festival that will Calgary music talents together on one stage to perform their music, while the future gets brighter with top celebrities joining in due time.

Yes. However, we are optimistic that other artist  can join our events. In return artist from the City can headline events outside of the city.
